My name is John “Doh Doh”. I love all things outdoors and anything that gives you an adrenaline rush. Only when we are closest to death do we truly feel alive. And being in nature allows for a constant reminder of how close our relationship to death truly is. As humans, being the only known creature to be aware of it’s own inevitable end, we have to learn how to live with this knowledge; and it’s not easy. Helping others and leaving this world better than it would have been otherwise is my main goal in life. I hope to be a positive influence on other’s around me, and spread joy while making as little negative impact as possible on the planet and others. I also hope to enjoy the ride on our spinning blue marble along the way. I enjoy most things outdoors, and almost anything that gives you an adrenaline rush. I enjoy backpacking, climbing/mountaineering, cycling, mountain biking, sky diving, scuba diving, skiing/snowboarding, river rafting/canoeing, and more. I’ve worked as an EMT, and am now working as a nurse.

In my art, I hope more than anything to spark conversation and some new ways of thinking about life and our role in it.
